Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Kaziranga Voice, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to comply with these terms, please do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

Kaziranga Voice is an advocacy application designed to facilitate communication with the Director of Kaziranga National Park regarding conservation and land protection concerns. The Application allows users to:

• Compose and send emails to the Director of Kaziranga National Park
• Create and document offline letters through photography
• Track the collective number of advocacy messages sent

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Application. If you are under 18, you represent that you have parental or guardian consent to use this service.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Application only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Provide accurate information when signing in via Google OAuth
• Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials
• Not engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Application
• Not send harassing, abusive, defamatory, or threatening messages
• Compose messages in good faith regarding environmental and land protection concerns

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Upload, publish, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Spam or send duplicate messages intended to disrupt the advocacy process
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Application or related systems
• Upload photos that are not of offline letters or that contain inappropriate content

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Application, including its design, structure, selection, coordination, and arrangement of content, is owned by Kaziranga Voice or its licensors. All text, graphics, logos, images, and software are the property of Kaziranga Voice or licensed to it and are protected by copyright laws.

7. User Content

You retain all rights to the email content and photos you submit through the Application. By submitting content through Kaziranga Voice, you grant us a license to store and use that content for tracking and advocacy purposes. Email content is forwarded to the Director of Kaziranga National Park as intended by you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaziranga Voice shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Whether arising out of breach of contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Kaziranga Voice does not warrant that:

• The Application will meet your requirements
• The Application will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Email delivery will be guaranteed
• Defects will be corrected

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kaziranga Voice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, or damages arising out of your use of the Application or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Service

Kaziranga Voice reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application at any time. We will not be liable to you for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuance.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at any time and for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

15. Changes to Terms

Kaziranga Voice reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective when posted. Your continued use of the Application following the posting of modified Terms means you accept and agree to the changes.
